Police in Brazil arrested Edson Draggo, a veteran of MMA after 10kg cocaine was found in his car.
Draggo was previously charged with robbery as well as illegal possession of weapons.
According to MMA Fighting the drugs were found 'hidden beneath the rear bumper' and inside the dashboard of a white Fiat Siena.
Local TV station SBT also reported the news.
According to police, he tried to escape the police but was caught.
They were valued at around PS280,000.
Draggo fought for the Pride and Cage Rage.
The 43-year-old was in action twice this year in Brazil, where he won in the first round.
His MMA record includes 13 wins and 7 losses.
MiddleEasy reports Draggo could be sentenced to anywhere from one to four years imprisonment, though the penalties are more severe these days.
