BEFORE the fight, Coach Khabib informs his team-mate

Khabib Nurmagomedov, a former lightweight champion in UFC, was present at the T-Mobile Arena as he coached his cousin Umar and team-mate Tagir Ulanbekov.

Ulanbekov was the trainer's first assignment of back-toback coaching assignments. He was not one to mess around.

Ulanbekov, who was fighting Tim Elliot at flyweight, entered the octagon and was greeted by some of his friends.

He was delighted that they had come to show support and jumped on the fence to start speaking with them.

This annoyed Coach Khabib, who quickly told him off and reminded him to stay focused on the task at hand.

Ulanbekov would lose a controversial unanimous decision to Elliot, despite no fault of his own.
