FABIAN EDWARDS is ready to smoke his next opponent in Milan, October - and plans on toasting his win with rum in Jamaica.
The prospect for middleweight revealed details about his next fight to SunSport, and said he expected to have one more match before a shot at winning the title.
Fabian Edwards will be fighting next in Milan in October.
This comes just one month after Edwards stopped Lyoto Machida by striking KO in the first round at the London 281 show.
Edwards had a chance to end a difficult 18-month period. He suffered his first defeats against Austin Vanderford and Costello van Steenis.
He then postponed his next two fights.
Edwards stated that he would love to see the John Salter fight or the Vanderford match around August.

He believes that he will win two more victories to be able to challenge Gegard Mousasi who, on June 24, takes on undefeated Johnny Eblen.
Edwards said, "When I began fighting, even as an amateur, I believed I would be there for world titles. To be number one."
"Some guys just want to be a part of a large organization.
"I don’t know if it was cocky, but I thought I would make a big promo that was easy.
It is hard to be last in a promotion and win.
"The champion fight is what I think about when I compete. I think I'm only two fights away.

Edwards could not reveal his October opponent but isn't too excited about his next match.
He said, "In October it is just a fight. It's not something that interests me.
"I think it's a good match up, and fans might like it stylistically.
"I don't get excited about the match-up, it's just another fight for my mind. It is what it's."
Leon Edwards, Edwards' older brother, will be fighting for the UFC Welterweight title in Salt Lake City on August 20.
Kamaru Usman, a British welterweight who has won ten of his ten previous bouts, will be challenging the British welterweight at UFC 278.
