Fans less impressed by UFC legend Conor McGregor's sparring footage with Dustin Poirier was leaked to the media.

FOOTAGE has been released of Conor McGregor sparring before his fight with Dustin Pourier.

The two-division champion landed in California to finish his UFC 264 rubber match against The Diamond. He flew out a few of his sparring partners and team-mates.

However, unlike his fights before, The Notorious did not have much training footage.

However, a video of the Irishman playing with Bellator lightweight NicoloSolli has been making the rounds on social media.

McGregor, 33 years old, was light-footed and displayed good head movement while Italian Solli tried his find his chin.

Some MMA fans were not impressed with the sparring session of Dubliner.

One commented: "Either he is extremely tired in this video, or he has lost more skill than I thought.. hopefully the first."

Another person said, "You can see his bounce gone."

Another said that Dustin's use of this stuff had gotten him into trouble. He is going to let you duck forward to grab their hands, but not attack you.

One commented: "Sad! It's almost like he has entered the Micky Rourke/Fat Elvis phase of his career."

McGregor's impressive footwork impressed some fans, one of them saying, "He's just fun watching throw a punch."

Another said, "Conor looked so smooth man." It begs the question: "Conor looked so smooth man."

McGregor is currently recuperating from the terrible broken leg sustained in his first clash with Poirier.

In the final seconds of Sin City's showdown, the UFC's poster child smashed his left fibula and tibia. He was defeated by TKO.

Ireland's first UFC champion will be absent until next July. However, he is making a faster recovery than expected.

Mystic Mac made his first steps since fight day last month when he placed 50 percent of his body weight on the injured leg and used an anti-gravity treadmill.

McGregor posted a video of the most recent development to his Instagram account, writing: "Today's a momentous Day!" This is what it looks like!

"I was able to walk for the first time since my surgery. I now have half my body weight!

"I did it also in the brand-new 'Irish Green’ Virgil Louis Abloh's!

"Although I still have a long way to go, it has been a huge personal boost for my today!"
