Kill Cliff ambassador says the idea of being able to test himself in the cage is appealing. SunSport reports that he said: "[I] am] most definitely a [long-term follower]. I've been following the Kill Cliff ambassador for a while.
"I feel like I've been crowned the worst heavyweight in Olympic wrestling. To bring home the gold medal.
"It would be a great honor to take a UFC title home at the heavyweight division. It could also cement my status as the worst man."
"Who wouldn’t want to be the best at both their job and be the worst man in two things at once?"
"I can do it myself, I know that I can."
After sending a tweet to Dana White, UFC president, Steveson made MMA fans salivate at the possibility of Steveson competing in the cage.
Minnesota Golden Gopher stated that the tweet was a "Dana, come to say hello" [message].
"I'm here. I know you're aware that I'm also here. You have the right to speak to me if you wish.
"That tweet was a message to me to open the doors for him to talk.
"He probably has followed me for a while.
"But, I know what Dana did for the UFC promotion-wise as well as everything else.
"If you're looking for the next big fighter, you can find me here."
The WWE will be competing with MMA organizations around the globe for Steveson's services. Steveson has been a target of the WWE for many years.
Steveson has plenty of time to think about his future, but he isn't in a hurry.
The Team USA star is open to the possibility of being a two-time Olympian at Paris' 2024 Games.
He stated that he hadn't thought about the next step. I told everyone I was going home to relax and pick the best for me and what's up next.
"I could win double gold in 2024. I could see Vince McMahon, who has reached out personally to me to perform WWE.
"Or, I could go to Dana White. Even the [Minnesota] Vikings sent me a message. My doors and options are wide open.
"I will choose the best option. However, as of now, I am not certain. I'm gonna keep searching.
"I have the whole world to explore, and I'm just going to step in that door and let it all open for me."
