White's gift led to outrage from some MMA fans who quickly lambasted the UFC's payment structure.

Pat McAfee, the veteran promoter, quickly dismissed the criticism and said to him: "Let's get this straight: First, all these people on internet, go f*** yourself.

"I spend my money however the g f g I choose to spend my money. You are responsible for your own f *****g company, 1.

"No. 2. If you look at the work that Kyle and the Nelk Boys did in Howler Head, and many other things, I can see that those kids never asked for anything.

"They never asked me for anything and couldn't have been better people. Kyle has done so much for me and I am grateful for the $250,000 I gave him as a birthday present.

"Don't count others' money and look after your own f g business."

White, 53, has been the victim of the most criticisms from fans over UFC fighter pay over the years.

He said this during a recent appearance on The Pivot podcast: "We created a business model in which, if your champion is selected, you get a share of the pay-per view revenue.

"If you are the headlining guy on the card or have been to special occasions when we know that you're making money, then you can also get a share of the pay-per view revenue.

"You eat what your kill."

"The truth is that you get some guys that - they can come in and tell you, 'I want $30,000,000 dollars.'

"OK, based upon what?" I do too. I'd like $30 million.

"We all want $30 Million, but what is the basis?

"And you're not going to have the guys from the other side worrying over the business of the sport."
