LEON EDWARDS kept the promise to his mom after becoming UFC champion. He now wants to fight at Wembley.
In the final minute of their UFC 278 in Utah, on Saturday night, Kamaru Usman, the Birmingham welterweight, defeated No1 Kamaru Usman, pound for pound.

Edwards' spectacular head kick knockout in round five made him Britain's second-ever UFC champion, following Michael Bisping.
He then had an emotional call with his mom, who was the reason he began training in MMA at 17 years old.
Edwards stated: "I told my mum, I said I would do it."
The 30-year old concluded an amazing journey that began when his family brought him to the gym to keep him out of trouble.
Edwards was defeated by Usman in 2015. However, Edwards has not lost since. He now has 11 victories and seven consecutive years of undefeated.
London saw the UFC headline twice this year. Previously, they only visited these shores once a year. This is because of fan demand.
Edwards is up for an historic night at Wembley’s 90,000-seat stadium. This is where Tyson Fury (34), and Anthony Joshua (32) have headlined.
He stated, "Bring it home to Wembley and let the UK enjoy it."
UFC President Dana White is open for the proposal, despite his concerns about British weather.
White said: "I'm afraid to go out, and I'm certainly scared to be outside in England." I joke about Wembley, but I mean it.
"Anything is possible now in England. It would be both exciting and scary all at once. It's not the best weather over there in England.
