Frans Mlambo Juggles MMA Career and Landscaping Job
MMA star Frans Mlambo is not only known for his skills in the cage, but he also has a job as a landscaper on the side. However, Mlambo has a chance to "change everything" with the upcoming PFL season.
A Fixture in Irish MMA and Conor McGregor's Training Partner
Mlambo has been a prominent figure in Irish MMA and has played a crucial role in helping Conor McGregor prepare for his biggest fights.
Two Years Without a Bout
Unfortunately, Mlambo faced a setback in his career as he went two years without a fight. But things took a turn when he signed with the Professional Fighters League (PFL).
Landscaping Job Provides Flexibility
Thankfully, Mlambo found a landscaping job with a friend from the gym. This job allows him to balance his training sessions and work around his schedule.

"I think I'm blessed in that way, but I don't think everybody has that. I know of lads that don't have what I have," Mlambo shared. "I do it around training and don't work during camps."
MMA's Boom and Influence of Conor McGregor
Mlambo has had a front row seat to witness the rise of MMA, thanks in large part to his training partner McGregor. He has observed the growing number of aspiring fighters entering the gym, hoping to be the next big thing.
"With Conor as well, everybody now thinks they can come in and do that," Mlambo said. "We are always talking about it in the gym as well, it's a big thing when you're in it but before you get there you don't hear much about it."
He also emphasized the importance of having another profession to support fighters financially, as he regrets not taking school more seriously himself.
PFL Europe Semi-Finalist and the $1m Prize
This year, Mlambo signed with the PFL and has now reached the semi-finals of their knockout tournament. Winning the tournament not only earns him $100,000 but also grants him entry into the $1 million global season next year.
Mlambo expressed his desire to win the million-dollar prize, stating, "That is what I'm looking at, that's my goal right now. If I get to that, that will obviously change everything."
Francesco Nuzzi Stands in the Way
Mlambo needs to defeat Francesco Nuzzi in the PFL Europe semi-finals to secure his spot in the final match on December 8 in Paris. Mlambo acknowledges Nuzzi's skills as a good striker, but he remains confident and excited for the fight.
