UFC star Conor McGregor demanded an immediate shot at winning the lightweight title, once he has fully recovered from his broken leg.
In his defeat to Dustin Poirier, the 33-year old shattered his left fibula and tibia in his Trilogy of Death in July.

McGregor will return to the Octagon in 2022. UFC president Dana White confirmed that McGregor would be a headliner' once his fitness is up to par.
White stated that he was still one of the best ten men in the world during a Pardon My Take appearance. He's still one the top 10 most talented guys in the world, I think.
"It will depend on who he is fighting and other things like that. But Conor McGregor's return to the ring is a big deal."
McGregor took to social media to announce that he would accept a shot at the world title as he seeks to regain the lightweight title.
Despite the fact that Notorious lost three of his four MMA fights, this is still a good result.
Next month, the lightweight belt will be up for grabs when champion Charles Oliveira takes on Poirier at Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena.
McGregor demanded a Twitter shot at the winner after he replied to an ESPN story about who he should face next.
He said, "Hi lads.. clicks the like. Your boss and whatnot. The Mac. The Santy Claus.
"I will be facing the next LW title holder. It's okay.
"Take off your goggles, and mark the trilogy as 'unfinished. That's it. After that, the rest of this article. Deal. With. It."
McGregor's fans were quick to point out that McGregor shouldn't be too unrealistic as he isn’t in a position for demanding a title.
One user commented, "Never in hell Dana White would do that." Zero chance. A title shot for a lightweight fighter who is 1-3 and hasn’t won a fight within the division in five years?
Another message was: "Entitlement does not belong at the highest levels of the sport." Perhaps you can win another fight at LW 1 lmao.
Another added: "How about winning some bouts first. Move to the back of your line.
McGregor already calls for a fourth fight with Poirier, insisting that he will resolve their differences 'once for all'.
He said, "Really bad elbows and upkicks for certain."
"That, or perhaps a really irritating blue bottle, was around him after he fought, lol.
They aren't looking forward to the future, but it is clear that they don't want to be mistaken. It will all be settled when I return. It will be settled once and for all."
