Gadzhi Omargadzhiev's shocking submission win over Jansey Silva this week stunned MMA fans around the world.
In the penultimate episode, Silva and the undefeated Russian prospect fought in the finale of season five of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contenders Series at UFC Apex.

Omargadzhiev, a middleweight mauler, dominated the Brazilian before winning for a kneebar in less than one minute.
Silva tried to get out of the agonizing submission, but was forced to tap on the crippling hold. He was left screaming in pain.
MMA fans quickly responded with one comment: "I'm going be sick!"
Another one said, "Good Lord."
Another said, "The screams of agony."
One commented: "Beautiful Omargadzhiev kneebar!"
Another voiced his opinion: "Filthy Kneebar by Omargadzhiev." It looked terrible.
Omargadzhiev's victory over Silva allowed him to extend his undefeated streak to 13 fights. It also earned him a contract with UFC president Dana White for the premier promotion in mixed martial arts.
After securing a spot on UFC's roster, Omargadzhiev was thrilled to take to Instagram.
He wrote, "Now at UFC!" I will get back to you shortly. I am grateful to all who have supported me through this difficult time.
Silva took to social media as well to communicate with his fans and address concerns about his knee.
He wrote, "A rough night but that's OK. Only the living understand."
"Very grateful to all the love and affection that I received in the texts - I love them so much."
Omargadzhiev may be back sooner than expected, considering the minimal damage he inflicted on Silva.
The UFC will be returning to Abu Dhabi on Saturday night for the latest Fight Island installment.
The UAE's top-billed fight will be between Jan Blachowicz, champion, and Glover Teixeira, light-heavyweight title bout.
