Adesanya, 32 years old, is entering his fifth title defense on the back his dominant wins in his consecutive rematches against Marvin Vettori, Robert Whittaker, but he envisions a more devastating performance in Sin City.

In that time, the Texan has won impressive stoppage victories over Jack Hermansson, Anderson Silva and Derek Brunson, while his only loss was to Whittaker, a former champion in middleweight.
Cannonier was a subject Adesanya watched closely long before he was close to a title shot. Now, Adesanya is enjoying nullifying the challenges that he brings.
International Fight Week's headliner stated that he was very excited to be fighting Jared.
