Taylor, a 7-5 MMA fighter, had only lost one boxing bout.

Fury won convincingly in all four rounds, but was unable get the knockout due to American opponent's unorthodox style and holding.

The British light-heavyweight moved up to 7-0, and used the inconsistant display to persuade Paul to enter a grudge match.

Fury stated: "Looking at this, Jake Paul. You should have an easy evening mate.

"There are no excuses. "You've seen everyone, I've received the greatest cheers in the entire place.

There are no excuses, running or hiding. You are my next target, bum. Let's go!

Fury, 22 years old, already signed a 2-fight deal with US powerhouse Showtime prior to his Stateside debut.

Paul was also recently signed to a lucrative deal by the network. Talk of a fight between them in their next fights has already been discussed.

Paul, 24 years old, had to first defeat Tyron Woodley (39), in his fourth and most difficult pro fight to date. This was the main event of the evening.

Paul, who was not accompanied by Tyson or his father John, admitted that he had underperformed but promised to improve.

He stated that it wasn't his best performance, and that everyone will be aware of this.

Boxing is, at the end of it all, the most difficult game in the world. It would be easy for everyone.

"I am learning every day in the gym. I'm getting better. It's one of the most difficult games in the world, and I'm doing my best.

"That's all I can say."
