Jorge Masvidal, UFC Welterweight Champion, encouraged him to make the switch to the Octagon so they could fight.

Paul said that he would only consider switching codes after certain goals have been met.

When asked if he would fight in the UFC Octagon, he replied: "After I'm like 110-0, maybe 12-0. After that, I'm likely to fight Canelo."

Paul beat YouTuber "AnEsonGib", ex-NBA player Nate Robinson (37), and Ben Askren (37).

He then won an eight-round point victory over Woodley (39), in August.

Paul was to face Tommy Fury (22), but he pulled out with a broken bone and a chest infection.

Woodley signed then as a replacement, but was eliminated in the rematch. Masvidal, 37 years old, was also present and was later called out.

Paul refused Masvidal’s offer to sign a contract with the UFC. He claimed he had earned more than anyone else in the MMA stable including Conor McGregor.

He made it clear on social media that he is his boss and not the UFC contract workers.

Paul said on Logan's podcast that it was not his intention to denigrate any UFC fighter. "Obviously you want to be part of a large platform, of course.

"I feel like my performance was a bit strong. But, like, when these guys start talking to me online and talking s***, it's like you don't know what you're talking.

"And by the side, it's f***ed-up. The point I am making is that they are employees and I am a CEO. However, the point is also that the situation they are in is unacceptable and must change.

"But don’t play the CEO, boss, s*** with us and offer, talking negotiations, and money, because I’ll run circles around all of these motherf*ers."
