Javier Mendez, AKA head coach, claimed that Paul has "never asked" to train at the gym.

Mendez, the former UFC champs Luke Rockhold and Cain Velasquez coach, said that Mendez has never asked for permission to train at his gym.

The Schmo was told by him: "It could occur.

"But, like anyone else, we have to go through all of the coaches and fighters that are present and any famous athlete like him."

Paul will vote for membership if he is serious about AKA training.

Mendez said, "They will go through a routine that everyone does so he would need to be voted by everybody.

"If there is one person who doesn't want him to be here, he cannot be here. So everyone would have to vote."

Mendez was as shocked as MMA fans to hear that Paul had said he would train at AKA, but he was grateful for the 'plug.

He stated, "I loved that he gave me the plug."

"I thought it was a great plug, and I think that he's an amazing person. I also think he market himself brilliantly. He does a great job.

Paul, 24 years old, has been teasing a move to mixed martial arts, and recently posted a video of him practicing leg kicks on social media.

The Problem Child was offered the opportunity to compete in Bellator. Scott Coker, president of Bellator, told MMA Junkie that he would be happy to let him.

"Think about it: He isn't saying, "I'm going train here." I will train there.

"He's going into one of the top gyms on the planet, where Khabib and Daniel Cormier are still training, where Cain Velasquez teaches there now, and going into an environment where he can flourish and has a wrestling background.

He is strikingly beautiful, evidently. This guy has great striking ability, as you can see.
