JON JONES has yet to be given a UFC return fight, but he promised to be in "peak condition” by July ahead his heavyweight debut.

Jones has been in the Octagon since February 2020, when he defeated Dominick Reyes. He then vacated his light-heavyweight belt shortly thereafter.

Since then, the American has been training for his debut as a heavyweight fighter upon his return.

Jones confirmed that he has not been offered an opponent, but said he was looking to the summer.

A fan asked him his opinion. He replied, "Nope. But my plan is for me to be in peak condition by June/ July."

Francis Ngannou (35), the current champion, is currently out of action and has yet to sign a contract extension.

This means Jones, 34 years old, could be able to fight former belt holder Miocic (39), in an interim title bout.

Henry Cejudo (35), told The Schmo that "that's the fight" This is where Jon's creativity will be revealed.

"He will cement that even further when he wins his heavyweight title.

Jon Jones is an expert at winning, but a man who takes chances is the one that can counter him. This is the only way to defeat him.
