JORGE MASVIDAL attacked Conor McGregor as a'small fragile dude.' He said that he couldn't be paid enough money to fight him.
Masvidal, who had won the 'Baddest Mother F***er" belt against Nate Diaz, campaigned to face him in 2020.
Jorge Masvidal blasted 'small fragile dude' Conor McGregor
Even UFC President Dana White was skeptical of the idea. She once said that Conor was too big for Conor.
Masvidal, in the weight division over McGregor, continued it with another dig when he said he would not face the former champion of the UFC.
He said to MMA Junkie, "I'm full-sized man." He is a fragile, small dude.
"He doesn't want it." It's impossible to pay this man enough money so it's okay.
McGregor is currently recovering from a horrendous leg injury sustained against Dustin Poirier, Masvidal's training partner.
Poirier (32), had previously beaten him in 2014. However, he was eliminated in the rematch in January. This set up a series decider for July.
McGregor, 33 years old, broke his tibia just seconds before round one was over, and lost by doctor's stoppage.
After undergoing successful surgery in Los Angeles, he is now training again. However, he does have a six month medical suspension.
Masvidal, 36 years old, is also back in training ahead of his return after being knocked out by Kamaru Usman, welterweight champion.
Usman, who is 34 years old, won the fight on points, but Usman viciously ended the show in round two.
Masvidal already has the opportunity to fight fellow contenders Leon Edwards (29), and Gilbert Burns (35).
He said, "The guy who gets me closest and fastest to the title fight."
Masvidal will meet with the UFC in Las Vegas for a discussion about his return fight.
He stated, "That's what you'll find out in the next two weeks."
"Whoever the UFC's like: "Man, this guy gets to you faster than anyone else and blah blah blah blah," that's all. That's all I need to do."
