Jorge Masvidal promised to break Colby Covington’s ‘f***ing jaw’ if he saw him "out on the streets".
Their feud was clearly not resolved by the grudge match, with the two continuing their verbal warfare afterward.
Masvidal warned, "It just suckers because this idiot spoke about my children.
"He's still someone, if he sees me out on the streets, I'm going give him everything that I have to break his f***ing jaw.
"He's a b***h. But the b***h can still wrestle. It's not fair to lose to such a b***h. It's just so pathetic, man.
Covington, aged 34, was dominant throughout the bout, with periods of prolonged pressure and superior grappling exchanges.
Masvidal, 37 years old, was able to have his moment in round 4. A counter right hook temporarily dropped his ex-training partner.

Masvidal stated that he didn't jump after he dropped him.
"I was not surprised that he bounced back. It was only surprising that I didn’t take his head off.
"I thought that he was going immediately to shoot on me. I was thinking of wrong s*** rather than just going to take off his head.
"I was tired. He was tired and hurt. I had my chance.
"That was the window of five to six seconds in which I could give everything I had and make a sprint for big changes.
"Maybe I could've made that round 10-8, or 10-7, but who knows, I didn’t take that opening."
