He also predicted a similar defeat against McGregor, if McGregor ever makes a comeback.

Masvidal stated to SunSport that he doesn't believe he will fight again period, and that he won't fight after me.

Jorge Masvidal has gone from fighting for $500 to promoting MMA fights and becoming a UFC star

"Nah. "Nah. Conor is the same.

He won't be able say that he took me down or held me down. Instead, he will say, "This guy kneed and elbowed my eye socket, then knocked the f*** out of me."

It's not going well for his brand. To tell the truth, I don't see him even taking on the fight with me.

"But I think he won't fight after taking the fight with me."

Gilbert Burns (35), is the UFC's No4 ranking contender. Masvidal can also choose to fight him.

McGregor, 33-year-old ex-backyard street brawler, confirmed that he is his first-choice lucrative pick.

Masvidal stated: "Yeah. It would definitely be Conor."

He said, "I believe as far as my banking account goes, that I'd be able to make a lot more beating this midget. So why not?"

"Then, there are many other fights to get to it and fight world's top fighters like Gilbert, who has the belt.

"There are a few guys on my personal side that I have to get.

"No matter what, no matter what, we're going back in there to scrap it out again."

Masvidal lost to Covington, his former friend and now enemy, in a bitter loss. The pair then allegedly got into a brawl a few weeks later.

Masvidal was arrested and accused of attacking Covington. He claimed that he faces three felony charges, as the case is still pending in Miami-Dade County.

It will also affect any UFC return until the legal matter is resolved.

Masvidal stated: "As we all know, I have some issues to deal with, so I need to get my ducks in order on the legal side.

"I have to fix a few things, get some things straightened out, and some of these items are out of my control, so I don’t want to set a date and it not happening.

"I am usually very on-point with my dates. I say that I'm going here this day, and I'm there.
