KHABIB NURMAGOMEDOV is furious at Conor McGregor's tweet mocking his father's death.
McGregor, 33 years old, mocked Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov's passing last week, tweeting: "Covid IS good, and father is evil?"
Khabib Nurmagomedov has taken aim at Conor McGregor's mockery of the death his father.
The quickly deleted tweet by the Irishman was in response to Nurmagomedov’s congratulatory message for Dustin Poirier following UFC 264. It read: "Good always defeats Evil."
"Very happy to see @DustinPoirier. I hope you get the belt at the end of the year."
McGregor's tweet was branded 'terrible' by Nurmagomedov, who then doubled down during an appearance on Hotboxin' With Mike Tyson.
He stated that only evil could talk about your wife, children, and father when he spoke about this.
"If you're a normal person, you won't talk about this stuff."
"I believe he posted this tweet (while drunk) or something. These tweets are then deleted every day.
"When he becomes normal, he looks at his smartphone and says, "Oh, look at what I did." Then he deletes. I think he does this all the time.
Retired Nurmagomedov believes that the bitter comments of his rivals about his father are a window into his character.
He said, "When someone doesn't with us, he isn't even alive - that is what shows your innermost feelings."
This is how dirty you really are. This is how you show your heart.
This shows you who you really are, and how dirty you are. How can you be like this if you have children and parents?
"I don’t understand why his closest people don’t go, 'Hey! What's the deal?'"
McGregor's million dollars have made him a lot of yes men according to The Eagle.
They lose them. Real people will tell you the truth.
"But fake people?" They say that you're always good.
"They don't say anything to you because they don’t want to upset your comfortable spot because they know that they will lose it.
Real people don't care about it. They were there before you became famous or rich. They don't care about how much you have. They love you.
"I believe he has lost a lot of people around. He didn't have anyone who was there before he became champion.
"Everybody needs someone to remind them that this is good and this is bad."
McGregor is currently recuperating from the fractured leg he sustained in his UFC 264 Trilogy fight with Poirier.
Although he has been training in the gym, the former champion of the two-division is likely to remain on the sidelines for next year.
