Khabib Nurmagomedov wishes Tyson Fury "good luck" ahead of the Deontay Wilder fight, as UFC legend meets Cristiano Rojo

Retired UFC star Khabib Nurmagomedov wished Tyson Fury "good luck" ahead of his maiden title defense.

Deontay Wilder will be defending his WBC belt against the Gypsy King in Las Vegas, Sunday morning.

After seeing Nurmagomedov's comment on his recent Instagram photo with Cristiano Ronaldo, Nurmagomedov, a boxing fan, was quick to send a message to the Brit.

He wrote, "@GypsyKing101 good fortune this weekend."

Nurmagomedov, a former lightweight champion, believes Fury is the best boxer on earth.

Nurmagomedov answered ESN News when asked who he believes is the best fighter in the world. Tyson Fury is my favorite boxer.

"Heavyweight, undefeated, and he beat everyone.

"Like very near, like Canelo [Alvarez], Oleksandr] Usyk [Terence] Crawford. Like all these guys very closely.

"Like only my opinion, top like Tyson Fury now."

Late last month, the heavyweight division saw a shake-up when Oleksandr Uzyk defeated Anthony Joshua's second reign of unification heavyweight champion.

Nurmagomedov would love for the southpaw to go toe to toe with the fleetfooted Fury.

He stated, "I really want see Usyk against Fury. It will be a great fight.

"He [Usyk] is very skilled and has excellent technique. Tyson Fury, too.

"He's not like other heavyweights. He has more technique, his footwork and his conditioning are very good. I want to see Usyk against Fury."

Wilder was beaten by Fury (33) in their Sin City showdown in February. Fury stopped the Bronze Bomber in round seven.

The Gypsy King plans to put on an even better performance at their second desert dust-up.

Fury declared, after Fury's grand entrance at the T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday, that he would knock him out fast.

"I think that he's a real bit of s**t, and a real chunk of garbage.

"For that I might slow it down, I might beat him up and make him stop. I might make him say "No ma!" "
