Retired UFC star Khabib Nurmagomedov joked that he would 'CHOKE OUT" any Everton player who attempts to seize Cristiano Ronaldo’s shirt today.
Former lightweight champion will be at Old Trafford to see Manchester United's Premier League match with the Toffees.
Khabib Nurmagomedov, UFC legend, is at Old Trafford
to see Man Utd vs Everton.
Nurmagomedov, 33 years old, watched the match to see Ronaldo in action.
The Russian is determined to get the shirt of the United greats after the last whistle. He's even willing to apply one of his signature submissions to any Everton player that tries to grab it.
He said this at Friday's Arnold Expo: "Tomorrow I'm going to watch the game.
"And I said, "Ronaldo. You're wearing a t-shirt. Please give me your shirt.
"If anyone asks, tell him I'm going to choke him out. Be careful.
Nurmagomedov is currently in the UK for a variety of speaking engagements. He started them on Friday at Birmingham's Arnold Expo.
Dagestani, a footie fanatic, insisted that he would not leave England without playing a game.
He stated that it was a dream of his to see Manchester United with a big team at Old Trafford. Very big match, Manchester, Everton.
"Tomorrow, it's my turn and I'm going to Liverpool and Manchester City [also]!"
Manchester United's official Twitter account shared a photo of The Eagle wearing a No.7 shirt just before kick-off.
The tweet that followed read: "Welcome, Old Trafford Khabib."
Nurmagomedov will need to wait for Ronaldo to take the field, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer named Ronaldo the Portuguese star on the bench.
Ronaldo, 36, was a fixture in all three United league matches this season. His omission is therefore surprising.
Five-time Ballon d'Or winner, he has scored five goals in six appearances after his return to Theatre of Dreams. Nurmagomedov had known of a MONTH prior to the transfer.
He said to RT: "A month back, he told us that he was moving from Manchester United.
"I was expecting this deal to happen. Manchester United seems more appropriate for him than Juventus.
"The transition was not surprising to me."
