JAKE PAUL can beat Conor McGregor by'so many benefits' in a boxing match.
This is Javier Mendez's view on Khabib Nurmagomedov, Khabib's trainer. He coached McGregor to victory in 2018.
Jake Paul winning over Tyron Woodley
Paul, who is unbeaten at 4-1, continues to call out the Irishman. He lost his debut boxing bout to Floyd Mayweather in 2017.
However, he also had boxing's No1 Canelo alvarez on his recent "hit-list" of opponents.
Mendez warned Paul, 24 years old, against fighting Canelo (31-year-old) and instead encouraged him to use his experience and size against McGregor (33)
Betway Insider was told by him: "Jake has so many advantages over Conor.
"Size is one of the major contenders, and he has been boxing for over three years with great boxing pros who know what they are doing.
He shouldn't have any fear of Conor. He should fear people like Canelo.
"He would smash him in one round. It would be embarrassing.
He doesn't have a chance against these types of guys. Conor has the advantage.
Paul defeated an online opponent 'AnEsonGib’ on his debut, before knocking out former NBA star Nate Robinson (both 37) and retired UFC Welterweight Ben Askren (both 37).
His biggest win was against Tyron Woodley (ex-UFC champion), in August, where he won the eight round distance.
McGregor has yet to make a comeback to the ring after his defeat to Mayweather (44), despite unsuccessful talks to fight Manny Pacquiao (42), late last year.
Paul is almost three stone lighter than the former UFC champion and has more experience in the ring.
Mendez believes that McGregor can be beat after seeing his secret sparring and training sessions.
He said, "Jake's got huge advantages in size as well as power."
He doesn't have any fight experience, but he has been boxing for a while. Conor hasn't been strictly boxing.
"I know Jake from firsthand.
"I have video that his coaches sent me, and I have spoken with the people he was sparring with.
"The guy is legit. He's the real deal. He's not the top guy, but that's not what I meant.
"You cannot be top-level with three pro fights. But he has skills, he is powerful and he has great training.
"And he is a great athlete, so combine them all and he's growing momentum."
