Chimaev has chillingly promised to be the last nail in Nate Diaz’s UFC career

Chimaev, a new fan favourite, called for a fight against the youngest Diaz brothers several months before it was realized.

He plans to brutally defeat Diaz in his final fight for the promotion's lightweight title.

Chimaev took the sinister vow by using a photoshop of himself giving a sermon at funerals - with "Nate Diaz 2004-2022” written on the headstone.

"UFC" was written below the dates, which are the length of Diaz’s Hall-of-Fame Career.

MMA fans quickly commented on the post with one comment: "This dude, is crazy!"

Another one said, "This is cold!" !"

Another said, "This picture goes crazy!"

One replied, "Khamazt's cold."

Chimaev's chilling photographshop was created just days after he had promised to supervise Diaz's "funeral".

According to his manager, he told ESPN: "I will handle Nate Diaz’s funeral with UFC."

Chimaev was last to be seen at UFC 273, where Gilbert Burns beat him in a three-round fight.

Diaz has remained away from the Octagon since his UFC 263 loss to Leon Edwards in June.

The Ultimate Fighter Season Five winner wanted to make a quick turnaround to finish his UFC contract, but was unable.

Diaz turned down the promotion's earlier offers to showdown with Chimaev, but recently changed his mind and decided to become a free agent.

During an appearance on The MMA Hour he stated: "I have been asking for fights ever since whenever. I've asked for a lot."

"I asked for Vicente Luque, Tony Ferguson. I asked for four to five people. It wasn't good for them.

"They finally offered me Khamzat [Chimaev]", I said a little, "What the f ***?', but then thought, why not? Let's do it.

"I requested the Khamzat battle. All kinds of excuses began to appear. I wanted January, March, and all of these things...

"I want to get this show on its feet, but they are keeping me in my contract and holding me hostage. That's what my main goal is.
