What's Happening?
Leon Edwards is gearing up for his third welterweight title defence at UFC 304 in Manchester. The Brit will face off against Belal Muhammad in a rematch at the Co-op Live Arena.
The Weight Cut Challenge
Before the fight, Edwards needs to drop over a stone to meet the 170lbs championship limit. This means shedding 17lbs or just over 7.7kg in a short period.
The Diet Plan
Despite the intense weight cut, Edwards won't starve himself. His diet includes meals like a vegetarian chilli omelette for breakfast, mixed berries and protein shakes as snacks, and lemon chicken thighs for dinner.
Expert Supervision
Edwards' nutritionist, Jordan Sullivan, has designed a plan that allows the fighter to safely lose weight. However, Sullivan emphasizes that this extreme diet is not suitable for long-term weight loss.

Rehydration Process
After making weight, Edwards will undergo a careful rehydration process to put back the lost water weight. Sullivan will oversee this critical phase to ensure Edwards is ready for his title fight.
