UFC Star Lerone Murphy says he almost died after being rushed to the hospital by a car that had crashed into his bike.
The crash that occurred yesterday left the English MMA star, aged 30, with a horrific head injury.
After a high-speed collision, Lerone Murphy was taken to the hospital with a head injury.
Murphy, a UFC featherweight champion with an impressive 12-0-1 record, shared his "near death" experience on social media.
It's not the first time that the Manchester-born bruiser has managed to escape with his life. He was shot in the neck and face outside of a barbershop nine year ago, earning the nickname "The Miracle".
Murphy said to fans, "Ffs, I can't catch any break." Another near-death experience.
"Yesterday, while I was cycling, an oncoming vehicle turned right, without me looking, and we collided at high speed. This caused a severe head injury.
"It took me 45 minutes for the ambulance to arrive, which almost caused me to go blind."

Friends and family flooded to send best wishes to the courageous fighter, whose last fight was a victory over Makwan Amirkhani by KO in October.

Murphy said that he was traumatized by the gun attack nearly a decade back and that he woke up thinking, "Wow, I'm still alive!"
"Of course, I still think about it, and I have visions. It was a trauma experience.
"I don't know why it happened. It could have been mistaken identification or something I had done in the past. I don't know.

"The doctors were puzzled as to how I survived, and how I wasn't killed.
"So yeah, it's a miracle that I'm here today."
