CHRIS WEIDMAN called Conor McGregor "dirtbag" and stated that comparing their leg breaks in an internet meme was the lowest of all lows'.
Anderson Silva, a UFC legend, was severely injured in his fight with Weidman in 2013. It took him two years to heal.
Conor McGregor was beaten by Dustin Poirier in a horrible leg injury
Coincidentally in April American Weidman (37), sustained a similar injury to Uriah Hill, 37. He is still recovering.
Three months later, McGregor (33), broke his tibia in round one of his trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier (32).
On Twitter, the Irishman shared a meme that shows Silva, 46, and Weidman in distress after their respective leg injuries and being stretched out of the stadiums.
McGregor, however, has a more vicious look and gestures to the crowd while he is being carried out.
The caption he used was: "Life isn't what happens to us, but how we handle what happens."
But Weidman hit out at the former two-weight UFC champion for the post, which he said was a ‘slap in the face’ to himself and Silva.

It's Anderson Silva, me lying face down, after I broke my leg. Then it's Conor McGregor.
"His leg's broken. Joe Rogan is his subject. He writes, "It's about what happens in your life.
"It's all about how you handle it moving forward."
Anderson Silva and I feel like Anderson Silva got a little bit of a slap on the faces. It's almost as if he handled that moment's pain and adversity better than us.
McGregor, 32, insulted Poirier's wife before he stopped McGregor's doctor loss to Poirier. He claimed that she had been messaging him privately.
While recovering from his setbacks, Francesco Facchinetti, an Italian DJ, claimed that a UFC fighter had punched him in face.
Weidman made other digs at Khabib Numagomedov (33), before and after McGregor’s 2018 loss to Russia.
He stated, "You have people who look up at you." How can you explain this to your children?
"The way that you behaved, you know, punching an old man in the face, then the Dj; it doesn’t stop. "Oh, I'm sorry for this guy." "Then, I'm sorry for that guy."
"You know, then you're saying this about Khabib’s dad and Khabib’s mum, and then this is about Poirier’s wife."
"He has been as low as he could go, when it comes dirtbag status, the lowest of the low."
