Mark Wahlberg would love the opportunity to be in a film with Conor McGregor
McGregor, aged 34, will make his acting debut in the latter part of this year
McGregor, who is 34 years old, made his acting debut earlier this month in an Amazon Prime remake 80s action movie Road House.
Wahlberg thinks this will be the beginning of a new era for the UFC two-division champion.
When asked if McGregor would be a big hit on the big screen, McGregor, 51, replied: "In the right film, absolutely!"
He added, "I have to get Conor in a film!"
Wahlberg wouldn't switch with McGregor to get in the Octagon, but his son won’t.
He said, "My son comes up and says, "Dad, don’t you dare!" It's not even possible to think about it! '"
Road House will tell the story of James Dalton who is a hardworking bouncer assigned to clean up a bar that has been known for its roughness.
According to a press release Gyllenhaal will play the role of the main character, who "takes a job at a rough-and–tumble roadhouse, Florida Keys, but soon realizes that not all is as it seems in this tropical paradise".
McGregor's role in the film is still unknown.
Since breaking his leg against Dustin Pourier last year, the MMA poster boy has been putting on weight.
He is getting closer to an Octagon comeback and he looks bigger and more jacked than ever before.
The Notorious shared photos of himself at the gym today, with his muscles bulging out and covered in veins.
