MMA Star Dakota Ditcheva Ready to Dedicate PFL Europe Title to Family Coaches

Training with Family

MMA star Dakota Ditcheva is set to compete in the final of the PFL Europe tournament this Friday in Dublin. The former Muay Thai champion currently trains in Florida but also spends time at her mom's gym in Manchester, where she is coached by her brother Cody. Ditcheva credits her family for their support and believes she wouldn't enjoy her career as much without them.

Family Support

Ditcheva's family has been by her side every step of the way as she prepares to face Valentina Scatizzi in the final. She values their presence and believes they make things a lot easier for her. Winning the title would be a special moment for Ditcheva and her family, who have played a significant role in her journey.

Training Regimen

The flyweight fighter progressed to the final with two stoppage wins. She revealed that her knockout combination was practiced on her brother Cody multiple times in the gym. However, she doesn't fixate on any specific shot or finish. Ditcheva prefers to work on what comes naturally to her.

Sibling Rivalry

Ditcheva enjoys giving her older brother a bit of a challenge in the gym. She jokes that when they have a disagreement at home, she lets out her frustration on the pads during training sessions. Despite the occasional bicker, Cody is an integral part of her training and is happy to be involved in her journey.

Reuniting with Family

Before the final showpiece, Ditcheva reunited with her family after starting her training camp in Florida. She admits that although she values her space, she missed her mom a lot and was eager to return to the gym. Ditcheva considers her mom not only as her coach but also as her best friend.

Returning Home

Ditcheva hopes to return home to America as the PFL Europe champion. However, she plans to leave the title belt with her parents, as she wants it to be their symbol of support and dedication.
