MMA Star Karlos Vemola Lives with Lions, Crocodiles, and Even Sharks

From the Cage to the Jungle

MMA star Karlos Vemola may be a force to be reckoned with in the cage, but when it comes to his home life, he's surrounded by some truly wild creatures. The fighter, known for his storied career across Europe and his time in the UFC, has created his own personal zoo filled with lions, tigers, crocodiles, and even baby sharks.

A Passion for Exotic Pets

Vemola's love for exotic animals started with two lionesses named Elsa and Princess. Inspired by Mike Tyson, he decided to add a white tiger to his collection. According to Vemola, "There are not many spaces for the lions, so she came to my house. I provided her with a home and got her a little mate to make sure she wouldn't be lonely. Then I saw Mike Tyson with the white tiger. So I thought, 'I wanna have a white tiger too,' and I got myself a white tiger."

Crocodiles and Baby Sharks

But Vemola's wild pet collection doesn't stop there. Inside his home, he keeps crocodiles, which he even feeds with his young son. When asked how he acquired the crocodiles, Vemola admitted, "Don't ask me how I got the crocodiles because that was just crazy." He also has baby sharks swimming in his living room.

Next Stop: An Elephant?

With all the big animals already in his care, Vemola jokes that the next addition to his homemade zoo might have to be an elephant.

Fear Factor: The Scariest Thing in His House

Despite living with lions, tigers, crocodiles, and sharks, Vemola insists that the scariest thing in his house is his wife, former Slovak Playboy model Lela. He shares a daughter and son with her and believes that animals behave well if they are treated well.

Continuing His Fighting Career

Vemola continues to prove himself as a formidable fighter in the cage. With nine wins in his last ten fights, he recently won the light-heavyweight title with a seven-second knockout. This Saturday, he returns to middleweight to face Samuel Kristofic.

A Family of Famous Faces

Vemola is not the only famous face in his family. Since 2022, he has been married to former Slovak Playboy model Lela, with whom he shares two children.
