Nate Diaz claims UFC chief Dana White is 'trippin’ over Khamzat-Chimaev fight. A hilarious clip mocking planned talks

NATE DIAZ has stopped talk of a possible showdown with UFC phenom Khamzat Chimaev.

After choking Li Jingliang, the No.11-ranked fighter in UFC 267 in Abu Dhabi, Chimaev was left unbeaten and made a run for Diaz.

UFC President Dana White said this week that he is interested in the fight and told TMZ: "We are going to talk with Nate (Diaz), about it."

"100% [I'm interested to make that fight]" added the veteran promoter.

Diaz, however, has dismissed any talk of him facing Russia with a funny 2013 clip in which Russell Westbrook of the Los Angeles Lakers lashes out at a reporter.

In Diaz's Instagram clip, Westbrook wrote: "What?" Bro, what are your thoughts? I'm out, bro. "Y'all n ****strippin'."

Chimaev now has a perfect 10-0 record following his defeat of Jingliang and is eager to share the cage as a fan favorite with Diaz.

He said, "Hey Diaz, let’s go, brother, in the UFC 267 press conference after the fight." Let's go. Bro, you're going to get some smoke.

"Let's find out who the real gangster is."

White was full praise for the undefeated Chechen following his defeat of Jingliang and said: "This guy's like nothing anyone has ever seen."

"When you stop and think about it, he has more UFC wins that he's been hit in the octagon.

"That's crazy. The walkout was filmed live by our social team on Instagram Live the night before.

"It broke records, it's our biggest Instagram Live ever."

Diaz has just one fight remaining on his UFC contract. He isn't interested in the bout.

After his June defeat to Leon Edwards by unanimous decision, Diaz, 36 has one more fight on his UFC contract.

The Ultimate Fighter Season Five winner is eager to finish his contract and get free agency.

If he tests free agency, a showdown with Jake Paul, YouTuber and pugilist turned, could be in the cards for the former lightweight title challenger.

White will not force Stockton's slugger into signing a new contract, but he has asked him to take a quick decision about his future.

TSN recently heard from the 52-year old: "That's an important decision that he must make.
