Nate Diaz sets his sights on avenging losses
Nate Diaz is eyeing rematches with Jake Paul and Leon Edwards after checking Jorge Masvidal off his list. Diaz suffered a defeat to current UFC welterweight champion Edwards in 2021, a year after leaving the promotion.
Calling out Jake Paul
After losing to Jake Paul in 2023, Diaz made it clear that he wants a rematch. Paul beat Diaz in his boxing debut last August, winning by a points decision.
Securing bragging rights
Despite a stoppage loss to Masvidal in the octagon in 2019, Diaz emerged victorious in their boxing rematch, winning via majority decision. He expressed his desire to fight the best in the world and reclaim the UFC title, targeting opponents like Jake Paul and Leon Edwards.
Response from Jake Paul and Masvidal
After being called out by Diaz, Jake Paul offered a $15 million MMA rematch offer, which Diaz allegedly turned down. Masvidal, on the other hand, called for a rematch following his boxing loss, believing he had landed the better shots in the fight.
