Cummings' UFC tweet was a puzzle to social media users

Although the MMA star's story is a big topic at the moment it was not expected that Cummings, a political strategist, would weigh in on his views.

He posted a bizarre tweet saying: "Do not sign a new UFC contract. You will make more money outside."

"AND @danawhite will make a deal for the @TheNotoriousMMA tri-fight, but you'll have more leverage and earn more money outside.

"Look at how they screwed @GeorgesStPierre. Now waiting for the contract to expire."

Cummings's advice was in response to Diaz’s short, cryptic Twitter message that simply stated: "I'm fighting somebody."

Cummings' tweet was out of character and left social media users confused. They reacted with a hilarious slap.

One stated: "Never in one million years did I believe Dominic Cummings would interact over Twitter with Nate Diaz."

Another commenter added: "This crossover is not even my late-night cheese dreams would have thought of."

A third participant said, "What is the point in this world where Dominic Cummings tweets Nate Diaz?" This was not on my 2021 bingo cards.

Diaz lost his last two fights against Leon Edwards, Jorge Masvidal.

In August 2019, the American won his last victory by beating Anthony Pettis unanimously.

Diaz's biggest fight is a three-fight against Conor McGregor.

McGregor was defeated by Diaz via submission in 2016, before McGregor got his revenge five months later with a majority victory.
