Massive Event at Eintracht Frankfurt's Stadium
OKTAGON MMA is gearing up for their largest event yet as Christian Eckerlin takes on Christian Jungwirth at Eintracht Frankfurt's stadium. The promotion is aiming to pack a whopping 60,000 MMA fans into the Deutsche Bank Park on October 12, vying to surpass the UFC's attendance record.
Challenging UFC's Record
The UFC's current highest-attendance record was set in 2015 with 56,214 fans witnessing Holly Holm defeat Ronda Rousey in Australia. OKTAGON co-founder Pavol Neruda expressed confidence in surpassing this milestone, stating, "I think we will beat this number. It would be amazing."
German MMA Showdown
Eckerlin and Jungwirth, both 37, will face off in a battle for supremacy to determine the top MMA fighter in Germany. Eckerlin, a former youth football player, transitioned to MMA at 21 and has since become a local legend in the fighting scene.
Oktagon's Rise to Prominence
Founded just five years ago, OKTAGON MMA has seen significant success, with a current valuation of £100m. Despite rejecting a £2 million buyout offer, co-founder Neruda emphasized their commitment to organic growth, stating, "We are building the business in the way that we want."

Future of OKTAGON MMA
With the upcoming event poised to make a global statement, OKTAGON MMA continues to solidify its position in the MMA world. Stay tuned for what promises to be a historic showdown in the sport.
