It would be held on a card that also features Patrice Evra, Manchester United legend.

Smith has some boxing experience after playing Muhammad Ali in 2001's biopic.

Former Sugar Ray Leonard coach Darrell Foster trained him in professional boxing-style training camps.

He also trained last year with John Kavanagh (Conor McGregor's MMA coach), who was'super impressed with his skills.

Kavanagh spoke to BBC Sport December and stated that it was "a strange situation that popped up."

"I was in Dubai training Conor and his folks were on to me, as they say. Would you be interested in a session with Will Smith. Yes, I would. It's amazing to me that I am such a huge fan.

"I was able to visit an amazing sport complex. I have a warrior program and I put him through a typical session. He was amazing.

He said, "Probably my favorite part was that it mimicked an MMA fighter. It is done on a punchbag. It will be shown on his documentary. If he puts me in, I might get 10 seconds.

"One of my favorite moments was when he sat down between rounds. It's just like a fighter would do. I'm there by his side, giving advice and guiding him in the right direction, just as I would when I'm cornering fighters.

"I try to get them into a fighting mindset. Will was staring into space, hunched over and focused while I was doing this.

"I thought, "Oh my God, this is the man who played Muhammad Ali. This scene is from the movie.

It was a matter of seconds before I realized: "What the hell is happening with my life!" What is the matter? Here's the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Muhammad Ali. He's tuned in to everything I'm saying.

"We had a great time, and we had some fun afterward." It was something I kept to myself. So when it came up on social media, my mother rang me and my sister rang me.
