The 27-year old has now revealed that she was in a state of shock after her brutal loss to Ostovich, who beat her two years ago in the UFC.

VanZant, MMA Weekly reported, broke down in tears after the fight ended.

She said, "I literally walked as if outside, and then I went and cried alone in the parking lot."

She told Austin Vanderford, her husband and fellow fighter, that she was tired and ready to give up on life.

VanZant recently released a video clip titled "My Fight: the Pain of Failure" in which she explored her emotions at that time.

She stated that she had said "some things to my husband which are pretty terrible, just about how my mental state."

"I told him I didn't want life anymore. It was disappointing.

It wasn't her second consecutive loss in the seven-figure, four-fight deal she signed with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. She was so disappointed.

VanZant said that it was also the hateful online outpouring against her, which was what everyone was expecting.

She stated, "I'm bummed." I mean, I'm not the least bummed. Everyone expects me lose and everyone expects that I will fail.

"I don’t know. I feel like people have a specific perception of me, especially online.

"It is amazing how many people can hate on one person."

VanZant said that she didn't understand why VanZant was so hateful, even though she is a great person. She also asked for opinions from others.

She stated, "I don't understand it." I am proud of being a good person and that is the most important thing to me.

"I don't talk badly about my enemies. I have never said a negative word about their character.

"You can never predict what someone is going through and what they are about to go through."
