Nate Diaz will be entering his final fight under his UFC contract

He must first honor the bout against Khamzat Chimaev (welterweight), which he won't lose, on September 10.

Pete Murray, CEO of MMA league PFL will be available to help Diaz, 37, to get a fight as a veteran.

Murray stated on the MMA Hour, "What I can say is that we are in all the conversations when fighters enter free agency."

"We are a trusted brand that is globally recognized. It was difficult in the beginning.

It's okay to have trust. You've also got to prove yourself.

"We have shown that our model works, and that we are built to last.

It's now an option for fighters on the rise as well as established fighters who are ranked among the top, top five, top three, and No1.

"We are here to stay, but we're also here to compete and play. We will continue to sign top fighters, not only will we develop our own talent but we also plan to do so.

The PFL is a 2-bout season in which points are earned for each method of victory.

The top four finishers in each weight division move on to the semis and final format. Finally, the eventual winners receive a $1m prize check.

PFL has several current members, including former UFC fighters Anthony Pettis (35), and Rory MacDonald (33).

Murray stated that they will "absolutely” look to speak to Diaz once he becomes a free agent.

He said, "We have capital, but we don't have the wherewithal."

"And we are not a regional player. We're a global actor." We are now investing in the future."
