Raymond Daniels, a kickboxing champion, is set to surpass Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee as the 'greatest martial artist of all time'

KICKBOXING champion Raymond Daniels wants to surpass Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee as the greatest martial artist ever.

Daniels competed in some the most prestigious promotions around the globe, including Glory where he challenged to win the title of world champion.

In an effort to improve his fight record, the American quit Bellator as their kickboxing champion for Karate Combat.

Daniels is determined to go down in history alongside Norris and Lee, both Hollywood martial arts pioneers.

He stated that he would love to fight anyone who considers himself a martial artist. My goal is to become the greatest martial artist of all time.

"That includes the Bruce Lees and the Chuck Norris, I believe I am the most electrifying, innovative martial artist there has ever been or will be.

"I have done things that great martial artists can only dream about."

Daniels, who also competed in Taekwondo and kickboxing, switched to the MMA cage under the Bellator banner in 2018.

After knocking Wilker Barros out with a stunning 720 punch, he became virally famous in 2020.

After three more fights, he signed for Karate Combat, which was established in 2018, and is the only full-contact sport league.

He will be making his promotional debut against Franklin Mina in Flordia on Saturday, where he is nicknamed The Bullet.

Karate Combat President Adam Kovacs acknowledged that it took many months and several video calls to get the mega-signing.

It was a great way to get the deal done.

Kovacs stated that it was not an easy signing, and probably the most difficult we have ever made.

"It took me, I think, more than a whole year to have a FaceTime with Raymond Daniels every Friday.

"And my coworkers said, 'OK. It's Friday again. You're talking with Raymond Daniels."

"But he was there at our last show, and I think that was really a good push for him decide."
