The US Promotion PFL features a quarters-semis and final knockout format, with the top two in each division fighting for the huge cash prize.

They have also introduced the 'Challenger Series' this year, which offers four contestants a chance to win a spot in the regular season.

This means that you can become a millionaire overnight.

Donn Davis, founder of PFL and chairman, told SunSport that each week, a contract will be awarded to allow you to enter the PFL season.

"Once you are in the PFL season there is nothing between you and a championship or $1million.

"You can be an unknown street person and win the penthouse title in one year." This is a true Rocky story.

The series will run for eight weeks and begin on February 18, ending April 8.

Four fights will be held each night, but only one winner will be given the PFL seasonal contract. This is determined by a guest panel of four men, including ex-UFC champion Tyron Whiteley, Saturday Night Live star Keenan Thomson, Mike Tyson, and fans at home.

England's Powell is the one who will be fighting on week 1. He didn't have to think twice before accepting this "no-brainer" offer.

He said, "There are no nerves. I'm confident with my skills set and I'm going 100 percent to get that contract."

Powell, 6ft 4in tall, revealed that he was compared to MMA royalty and has been called 'the next Jon Jones.

The light-heavyweight hopeful is unbeaten at 4-0 and believes he can beat Jones' legendary legacy.

The UFC legend Jon Jones has been compared to the light-heavyweight.

He stated that he had the potential to surpass Jon Jones. Although it sounds arrogant, I believe it.

Powell, 23 years old, began training in Muay Thai at 16 and then transitioned to MMA at 6-1.

Although he lost his first bout in the ring, he has never been defeated as an amateur or professional.

Powell is aware that he must impress the celebrity panel by more than just winning when he faces 3-1 Karl Williams, especially if Iron Mike is there.

He stated, "He's an icon, he's a fan-pleasing fight fighter and it would seem crazy to get his attention."

"You'll grow up seeing Mike Tyson fight, and you will see that all fighters do the same thing no matter what their combat sport is." It will be impossible to impress him."

Powell will be entered in the regular season with the PFL contract if he wins.

This consists of a quarter-final round and a semi-final round in three rounds. The winner advances to the championship final.

Powell already has his sights set on the showpiece event where $1m in life-changing winnings is just five rounds away.

He said: "I've got plans if I win it. It would make my family's lives 100 percent better. It would benefit my mother and my siblings.

"I wouldn't just spend my money. You'd love to buy things, but it's also about helping others that brought me to this place.

"You have to visualize it in order for it to come true, and you must work hard towards it.

"I have put in the effort and I am able to achieve what I want. I don't just go to the gym every day to be an average fighter.
