Tommy Fury blasts Jake Paul for calling UFC stars out and claims that Tyron Woodley's rematch was "a hug battle" before the brutal KO.

TOMMY FURRY believes Jake Paul's savage one-shot knockout against Tyron Woodley masks an embarrassing fight that was ridiculed by the in-house commentary.

The Brit, aged 22, should have been in the ring last Saturday night with YouTube star before a chest infection & broken rib forced him to leave the contest.

Woodley, an ex-UFC welterweight, jumped in for a second match - up to the cruiserweight limit. He was brutally face-planted in round six.

Fury, a Love Island hunk, claims that he heard Paul's commentary team on Fite.TV mocking the poor action in the five first rounds of the KO.

Fury, as he snorted through his Unibet Lowdown interview said: "You're in a bad spot when your show's commentator says that it's getting harder to watch now."

"The commentator was laughing at the question, "Who won that round?" because nobody knew.

"I was watching it, and it was very upsetting. It wouldn't have gone six rounds if I was there.

"The first four to five didn't throw any, it was only wrestling.

"The KO was a nice punch, but it was from an 14-year-old guy against a bloke who had his hands down.

"Woodley didn’t notice that I had to leave very late so he didn’t have any kind of camp. He still took six rounds, despite Paul training for months."

Paul insists he is on track to become a bonafide world champion in boxing, but he has already called out another group of veteran MMA fighters whose prime year was in weight classes far below his.

Jorge Masvidal and Nate Niaz are the most likely candidates, but Fury insists that this proves that his boxing venture is not a complete sham.

He stated that he had gone back to calling out MMA fighters. I don't understand what he is trying achieve by calling out UFC fighters.

He should fight boxers if he wants to become a boxer. He continues to fight wrestling opponents who would put him in a cage every single day.

"He would beat Nate Diaz (in a boxing match) 100 percent, because they're not boxers.

"He looked better in his fight against Wooldey. This fight he did not do anything." The first five rounds were a hug fight.
