TONY FERGUSON was taken to the hospital shortly after his UFC 274 defeat to Michael Chandler. However, he was released after additional medical tests.
In the second round, Chandler defeated the former interim lightweight champion.
Ferguson was briefly disfigured by Chandler's brutal kick
Ferguson, 38, was knocked out by Chandler's front kick. Chandler snapped a 2-fight losing streak.
El Cucucy, who won the first round, faceplanted the canvas. He didn't return for nearly two minutes.
As a precaution, the UFC's medical staff sent him to the hospital for additional testing.
Ferguson was released quickly after his CT scans proved negative.

The viral KO by Ferguson of Chandler sent the Gila River Arena into a state characterized by pandemonium.
The savage stoppage also shocked UFC President Dana White.
He said, "That was one of the most vicious knockouts I've ever seen."
Although it was Ferguson's fourth spin defeat, Chandler's loss was his first stoppage in his career.
White insists that the Ultimate Fighter season 13 winner is not done. He said: "He looked damn good during that first round.
"But that was an extremely vicious knockout. But I believe Tony should take some time to recover from that knockout.
The veteran promoter said, "I don’t know what’s next for him."
"But it's nothing like, 'Oh My God, Tony got dominated and looks like he doesn’t belong here.
