The aftermath is still fresh in the minds of the former interim lightweight champion
Ferguson's opening round was not enough when Chandler, three-time Bellator champ at 155lb, caught him with a perfect-timed front kick.
He was consoled by his Ultimate Fighter team, and had a short conversation with Chuck Liddell, UFC Hall of Famer before being taken to the hospital.
SunSport reported that he said: "I'm going be real: After that fight, I don’t remember being on a stool."
"I don’t recall him raising his hand, and I don’t remember speaking to Coach Chuck [Liddell]".
"The only thing I can remember is that I was walking out, and I glanced at my coach to my right and it was like everything went in.
"I knew that I had lost and thought, 'F**k1. It went quickly, dude.
Chandler's loss was Ferguson's first cold defeat in his 14-year career.
Ferguson, while he credits Chandler for the strike, believes that his recklessness in a single-leg takedown was the reason he failed to land it.
El Cucuy stated that it was his fault. He was searching for an outside sweep single. I tried to lure him in by baiting him.
"And I didn't pay attention to his f***ing legs."
Ferguson says he didn't see the boxing- and wrestling-heavy Chandler giving a front kick up to the middle.
He said, "Who would have thought that he'd throw one of my kicks?"
"I checked all his kicks in the first round, and then I was tagging them up.

"Tony hit my with a few of these," he said, and then he mirrors me.
"I didn’t expect it, and I didn’t look for it. I wasn’t paying attention."
"I had a lot of s**t that didn’t make sense, but God works mysteriously." I don't ever question it."
