DUSTIN POIRIER and Charles Oliveira met for the last time before their Las Vegas lightweight title fight.
Brazilian Oliveira will attempt to defend his 155lb belt against the former interim champ in the main event at UFC 269.
Both men were able to put on weight for the T-Mobile Arena fight, with Oliveira being the champion at 155lbs and Poirier at 154.5lbs.
They met up again a few hours later after successfully weighing in on their lightweight barnburner.
Before they were able to go nose-to-nose, the UFC president Dana White briefly separated them.
Poirier will attempt to be the undisputed lightweight champion in UFC 269's main event, where he will face Charles Oliveira, belt holder.
The Diamond wants to complete his Hall-of-Fame journey by finally obtaining undisputed UFC gold.
"If Saturday night's world champion is me, then I have done all I set out to do.
"I have set up my family. We are in a very good financial position.
"I own other businesses. That box must be checked. That's forever. To make life fair, I said 25 minutes.
"This is 25 minutes to eternity, 25 to eternity. This is what it is. That can't be taken away.
"Once you are a champion, you will always be a champion." It is very important to me and my wife. It only cements all that we have done."
