UFC 272 competitors Masvidal and Covington created an 'intoxicating' environment at the gym, and they were asked to leave following an assault attempt

"But we've always managed to keep that apart, maintain some professionalism in the gym, and not let it affect our team.

"Their situation got so bad that it was affecting everyone in the gym, and I couldn’t control it.

"At one time, we had both to tell them to leave."

Masvidal made it clear that he doesn't like his former "best friend", who lived with him while he worked his way up through the UFC ranks.

"And he knows this, that's why that's why that's why that guy used to make videos like, "This guy's too unprofessional, tried to fight me on the street."

"I was trying to attack him once and got kicked out the gym."

"And then, I used to go the spots that he used frequented a lot and got police called me and other things.

"I know that a lot people think like this: "Man, you're an idiot."

"You are a professional fighter. Why would you do that?"

"Because it's what I feel like." I don't know what to do.

Covington will be able to settle their differences with Masvidal next month at the main event of UFC 272 Las Vegas.

Fan favourite Masvidal has also vowed to leave Chaos after he is done with him in 'critical condition.

"I hope that the referee who is trying to pull me off of him, slips on a banana Peel and I get some additional shots in. This will really change his life.
