LUKE ROCKHOLD has announced his retirement from mixed martial arts after his long-awaited return fight with Paulo Costa.
Rockhold, who had been on a THREE YEARhiatus, returned to the ring with the middleweight champion in the co-main event at UFC 278.

Borrachinha made a rude and unwelcome return to the division, resulting in a loss by unanimous consent.
After losing to the former title challenger, the 37-year old decided to end his legendary career.
Joe Rogan was told by him: "I can’t do this s**t anymore." I gave it all. I'm f***ing old."
Rockhold, who was bubbling with confidence before his return to the division, told SunSport: "I feel like he's going to hurt me on the feet, and then I feel like he's going to finish me on the ground.
"I'm going rip the soul out of that man's body.
