UFC 300 Date Officially Announced: Dana White Confirms Historic Las Vegas Card Set for April 13

The Highly Anticipated Event

The UFC has finally revealed the date for its highly anticipated 300th pay-per-view card. Fans of mixed martial arts have been eagerly awaiting this announcement from the sport's premier promotion.

Save the Date

Mark your calendars for April 13, because that's when the historic UFC 300 event will take place. The venue for this monumental card will be none other than the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, which has become a second home for the promotion since 2016.

What's in Store

While the headlining fight for UFC 300 has yet to be officially announced, all signs point to the long-awaited return of former two-division champion Conor McGregor. The Notorious is expected to step back into the octagon against fan favorite Michael Chandler, his rival coach on season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter.

The Delayed Showdown

The fight between McGregor and Chandler was originally scheduled for UFC 296, the promotion's final event of the year in Vegas. However, McGregor's absence from the USADA drug testing pool caused a delay. The UFC's partnership with USADA ends on December 31, allowing McGregor to come back earlier. But the promotion chose to wait until he fulfilled the six-month testing requirement.

McGregor's Absence

It has been over a year since McGregor's last fight, where he suffered a leg injury during his rematch with Dustin Poirier in January 2021. The Irish superstar, who became the UFC's first simultaneous two-weight champion, is undoubtedly eager to make his highly anticipated comeback.

Chandler's Return

On the other side of the octagon, Michael Chandler will be looking to bounce back from his loss to Poirier in UFC 281 last November. After a period of inactivity, Chandler will have the opportunity to prove himself once again in this epic showdown.

Stay tuned for more updates on UFC 300 as the event draws closer. It's bound to be a night of incredible fights and unforgettable moments in the world of mixed martial arts.
