The veteran promoter, however, has apparently abandoned his plans to enter the sport

White set up Zuffa Boxing for 2019 but has since abandoned his plans to restructure this sport after insisting that he was "getting into 100 percent boxing."

White stated that boxing is something she would like to do, during a appearance on Blockasset’s BLOCK Party.

"You see what I'm talking about? "Why would I want to plunge into this nightmare?"

"That's why it's so hard for me to do anything. It's a terrible business and it is a nightmare to try to fix."

White has a number of complaints about the sport, chief among them being that promoters fail to stage super-fights.

White stated that there will always be headbutting during a appearance on The Pivot Podcast.

"Do you have enough money?" Do you? I would love to meet the guy who says, "Oh, I'm great!" I have a lot of money. I don't have any more money.

"You will never meet this guy. It is unlikely. Everyone wants more money.

"And one of the big problems with boxing too is that all those f****** guys are overpaid, and every time they put on a fight, it's a going-out-of-business sale.

"We are just trying to get as much * ***** from you guys and then we'll be out of here. We will see you in three more years."

White believes that the sudden increase in freakshow fights in the sport over the past few years is due to promoters not being in a position to connect with younger fans.

He stated that December 2020 was a "spiral, nose dive" affair. What they haven’t done is get any of the younger generation.

"But it would be insane to claim that these types of fights aren't popular anyway.

"We were talking about Tonya Harding's fight, and the celebrity fights they were having.

"I believe people will always be interested in this type of stuff."

He said, "It's going to require so much money, time, and the entire thing needs to rebuilt and restructured."

You know that there will always be fights that make money.
