UFC chief Dana White accused by stealing his whole 'persona and promotion tactis from WWE bigwig Vince McMahon

DANA WHITE was accused of stealing Vince McMahon's 'persona' and implementing the WWE CEO’s methods during his tenure as UFC president.

White and the Fertitta brothers helped transform mixed martial arts' premier promotion to a global powerhouse, multi-billion-pound business after his 2001 appointment as president.

However, Vince McMahon has been accused by the UFC chief of copying Vince McMahon’s playbook

The UFC was sold to PS2.9billion by the Bostonian due to its no-nonsense approach, unfiltered interviews, and sometimes controversial decisions.

White, a former MMA ref, believes that a lot of the promotion’s success can be attributed in part to his following the footsteps of WWE superstar McMahon.

McCarthy stated that Dana should bow to Vince McMahon during a recent episode on his Weighing In Podcast. He had stolen everything from Vince.

"He stole his persona and he stole how he runs his business, all of it.

"So, to say that Vince could've written this better, okay, but he taught this to you and you kind of tried to put it together by creating this fake champion title for a guy who shouldn't be.

McCarthy's remarks came after White said McMahon could not script the impending heavyweight title unification bout between ex-team-mates Ciryl Gane and Francis Ngannou.

White spoke out after Gane's UFC 265 win over Derrick Lewis earlier in the month. He said, "This guy [Gane], who's a huge, powerful, badass heavyweight, who moves like an average weight.

"You saw tonight that he could do to Derrick Lewis. He completely shut him down."

"The other thing I liked about him was his willingness to take on the pressure of his first major event.

It's different because of the crowds. You're in his [Derrick Lewis] backyard, it's his hometown.

"The guy certainly shined tonight."

McMahon and White have been longtime rivals, but they managed to put aside their differences to allow Brock Lesnar the opportunity to compete in the octagon.

White spoke about the 75-year old during a five-year-old appearance on Hot 97.

"He isn't a shoot-the-s**t type of guy. I can shoot the sh**t, but Vince, he is not that guy. Vince is all business.

"I have a lot respect for Vince. You look at him...and Vince.

"Think about Vince, and all that he's accomplished.

"As large as his company...gone public he can cash in, there are so many things this guy can do.

"That guy is a fighter and wants to be up every morning, regardless of his age.

"I respect that."
