ALL THE WAY MAC
McGregor was surrounded by potential foes in his UFC return.
Fans speculated that McGregor might be parachuted in after Charles Oliveira lost the UFC lightweight title because he was overweight before his win over Justin Gaethje.
McGregor teased McGregor about taking advantage of it, while Oliveira called McGregor out after beating Gaethje in UFC 274.
Michael Chandler, who considers himself the frontrunner, and Dustin Poirier are among the potential competitors.
McGregor and Jorge Masvidal have been at odds on social media in recent times.
He called McGregor a "pigeon-brain" in one exchange. Masvidal has repeatedly called McGregor out to fight.
Masvidal stated that he wants to be relevant, so he takes shots. But he isn't going to fight.
"The UFC offered him this fight. As you and I know, this could be one of the most important fights in UFC history. Why would he not want that money?
"Because I know he's going to beat me."
