UFC legend Joe Rogan believes NBA Superstar could dominate in MMA

Rogan's Bold Statement

Joe Rogan, iconic UFC commentator and former fighter, has boldly claimed that if NBA superstar Lebron James had pursued a career in mixed martial arts (MMA), he would have left fighters "f****d." Rogan made this statement on his popular podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, in 2017. Although James has never competed in MMA, Rogan believes his physical advantages and winner mentality would have made him a force to be reckoned with in the octagon.

Successes of Crossover Stars

WWE superstar Brock Lesnar is the prime example of a successful crossover star. Lesnar transitioned from professional wrestling to MMA and became the UFC heavyweight champion in 2008. His accomplishments have sparked speculation about the potential success of other athletes from different sports in the world of MMA.

Lebron James: A Potential MMA Powerhouse?

Despite not having a martial arts background, Lebron James' name often comes up in the conversation about potential MMA crossovers. Rogan believes that James' towering 6'9" frame and physical advantages would have been a nightmare for opponents inside the cage. Rogan expressed his belief that a fighter like James would have had an "unfathomable physical advantage" over most competitors.

Rogan's Praise for James

Rogan did not hesitate to shower James with praise, emphasizing his winner mentality and the versatility that comes with being a champion in any arena. According to Rogan, James would have beaten anyone who stood in his way, stating, "That guy's going to beat your f*ing a, he's a winner. There's a certain level of winners that can just do whatever they want."
