KHABIB NURMAGOMEDOV has risked the wrath of Conor McGregor by snubbing him from his greatest of all time list.

Retired lightweight Nurmagomedov has often found himself in the conversation, despite calling it quits while at the peak of his powers.
The Dagestani destroyer has seldom shared his thoughts on the debate, although he did so in a rare tweet on Wednesday night.

Most mixed martial arts fans didn’t have a glaring issue with Nurmagomedov’s list, although they couldn’t help but notice his omission of bitter rival Conor McGregor.

Another said: “U forgot someone.”
And another said: “Seems like you left someone off.”
One asked: “What about Conor McGregor?”
Another chimed in: “It’s a good list, but by excluding Conor it means you never defeated any all-time great fighters.”
Nurmagomedov and McGregor, both 34, locked horns with one another nearly five years ago in the main event of UFC 229 – the biggest pay-per-view event in the history of the promotion.

During an appearance on The Nelk Boys’ Full Send Podcast, Nurmagomedov said: “First of all, I was preparing for war.
“I come inside the cage, I fight with this guy, and he tapped. I’m like, ‘Why [did] I come here? Why [did] I train so hard for this?
“You’re going to tap easily like this?’ I just take his chin, you know, and he tapped.
“This one make me upset, too, you know, because I accept more than what I find inside the cage.”
